Stenography in Hindi 150 words per minute.
Speed of 35 words per minute in Hindi typing and English typing.
Certificate in Computer Course recognized by AICTE or Department of Electronic Accreditation of Computer Courses (DOEACC / NIELIT), or a subject equivalent to 'O' Level in terms of syllabus and duration of the subjects as prescribed by DOEACC / NIELIT or Computer Proficiency Test.
Assistant
Bachelor's degree from a University recognized by the State/ Central Government.
Speed of 30 words per minute in Hindi typing and English typing.
Assistant Caretaker
Bachelor's degree from a University recognized by the State/ Central Government.
Data Entry Operator (DEO)
Intermediate qualification from any Institute or Intermediate Council recognized by the State Government or the Central Government.
Speed of 8000 key depressions per hour on computer.
Lower Division Clerk (LDC)
Intermediate qualification from any Institute or Intermediate Council recognized by the State Government or the Central Government.
Speed of 30 words per minute in Hindi typing and English typing.
Security Guard
Intermediate in any subject recognized by the Intermediate Council or Board of the State/ Central Government.
Physical Standards :
Male - Height : 167.5 cms, 2.4 cms in case of residents of Terai region. flexible, Chest : 76.5 - 81 Cms, Vision : 6/12 in both eyes without glasses.
Female - Height : 154.6 cms, 2.4 cms in case of residents of Terai region flexible. Vision : 6/12 in both eyes without glasses.
Physical defects should be disease free.
Preference will be given to 'C' certificate in NCC or distinguished sports persons who have represented the State or Country at National or International level or who have represented any recognized University in the tournament.
Physical Standards :
All Category of Male - 1.6 km race complete within 06 Minute.

Bihar Legislative Council has a glorious parliamentary history. In the light of the Indian Councils Act , 1909 made according to the suggestions given by Morley-Minto , on August 25 , 1911, the Government of India sent a letter to the Secretary of India recommending the separation of Bihar from Bengal, whose positive reply came on November 1 , 1911 . On December 12 , 1911, the British Emperor announced the appointment of a Lieutenant Governor for the Bihar-Orissa province in the Delhi Durbar, and on March 22 , 1912 , the new province was formed. On 1 April 1912, Charles Stuart Bailey became the lieutenant governor of the state of Bihar and Orissa. The Indian Council Act to advise the Lieutenant Governor ,By amending 1861 and 1909, the Bihar Legislative Council was formed by the Government of India Act , 1912, in which 3 ex-officio members , 21 elected members and 19 nominated members were kept. The first meeting of the Legislative Council was held on January 20 , 1913 in the auditorium of Patna College (Bankipur).
